Redefining the word…TEENAGER

We Americans think of the word teenager and imagine lazy, sassy, annoyed, and a complaining people between adults and kids. That’s what is sad, even Christian adults put down teenagers, maybe not literally but they do, they will tell you jokingly your sassy or other things and if you hear something enough you WILL start to believe that. The saddest part is that we accept it, we accept that we are lazy, an full of ourselves. This generation is so selfish it is just unbelievable! Well I have a dare for all us teenagers, let’s change the way people think of the word teenager. Let’s start our world on fire! I am serious though! I am sick of doing the same old thing day after day after day, I’m sick of being lazy and selfish and sassy. We have the power to change our world, think about it, kids look up to us and we are finally old enough where adults will listen to us. I am going to do this, will you? To sum it up, this week, year, life… Live your life for The Lord, EVERYTHING you do do it for others! Read your bible more than just once a week or month, try being obedient and respectful to your parents and elders, make everyone who mocks us as teenagers eat their words! And the easiest way to do that is to LOVE, in the bible it says to love it says that the greatest is love! Love can get the worst person in the world to look at their life. I am not exactly sure what each of you should do for your world but God does, you look for spiritual water in devotions and other bible people for inspiration when the only place you have to look to is The Lord, as it doesn’t have to be all formal like everyone thinks, you can literally just talk to him like a friend. I love tht about my amazing God! I love telling Him EVERYTHING! It’s the best feeling ever. Try it sometime. If you would like to know more about being on fire look up the book, “do hard things.” I’m not sure who it’s by but it’s awesome!
